Ballet for children
Coordination, muscle building, stimulation of the imagination, joy in movement, musicality – step by step learning to dance: Children as of 4 years in our “Early Dance Education” (TFE) classes are gently and playfully lead toward classical ballet, in the form of playful exercises. From 5 Years of age, (TS) further dance elements are added.
From the age of 6 or after enrollment in elementary school, a transition to our children’s ballet classes Level 1-4 (KB 1-4), takes place in which the classical Vaganova method of ballet is carefully taught from the very beginning.
Simple choreographic dances expand the children’s practice.
The Vaganova Classes
The classical ballet training and the syllabus of steps intensify when a child moves into the Waganowa classes. The student has the possibility of expanding his/her dance capabilities by adding other subjects, such as character dance, or modern dance to his/her curriculum. The number of hours invested increase to having lessons three or more times a week.
The aim is to motivate ballet-loving and physically gifted children and adolescents and, depending on their ambitions (serious hobby, career aspirations) to enable them to transfer into our academy or to open their way to further (state) institutions.
Ballet for adults
Fitness, body sensation, aesthetics, the joy of dancing – Ballet for all ages: Dance-loving adults of all ages can train in our adult ballet classes (Level Starter, Basic, Medium and Advanced) Classical Ballet.
The open-ended EB classes offer maximum flexibility so that ballet lessons and a busy schedule are well-suited to study, work, and family.
